Welcome to our consultation website for the proposed redevelopment of the Holiday Inn Brentford Lock.

Splendid Hospitality Group is bringing forward plans to reinvest in this established and successful hotel, and this website sets out the proposals, the benefits they are intended to deliver, and how you can take part in the consultation.

The proposals will reorganise the lower floors of the hotel to create improved public and guest facilities, alongside additional guest accommodation above. They will also help secure the hotel’s long-term future, supporting its continued role as a local employer and part of Brentford’s economy, while improving how the hotel fits within Brentford Lock and the surrounding area.

Your feedback will help shape the plans before a planning application is submitted and we are hosting a community engagement event where you can meet the project team, ask questions, and share your views.

BOARDS

The Holiday Inn Brentford Lock is a 134-room, four-star hotel overlooking the Grand Union Canal offering a range of amenities and services for both business and leisure travellers.

Since its design in 2002, the building has not undergone any significant extensions or additions. Our proposals are an investment in the existing Brentford hotel, not the creation of a completely new use on the site. Much of the existing building will be retained and refurbished.

The design introduces more guest rooms and reconfigures the lower floors. The ground floor includes a conference and event layout, while other proposals include meeting spaces, a gym, lounge areas, and new landscape and seating.

Our approach gives a successful local hotel a long-term future while making better use of an existing building.
